the difference between morningstar farms burgers, boca burgers, and garden burgers? At home I make turkey burgers for dinner but this would be great for lunch. I just got confused at the grocery store the other night.

I want something like a soy patty without any chopped up veggie pieces in it if that makes sense. Do any of those fit?

garden burgers have veggies in them.  i can't remember the difference b/t the other two off the top of my head, but my supermarket puts veggie burgers in two places.  the ones with chunks of veggies are usually in the frozen foods section. the ones that are more like soy protein are in a special section near regular fruits and veggies (along with soy cheese and tofu).

I am pretty sure that Morning Star does not have veggies in them. I just looked at them and there were no veggies listed in the ingredients. I hate them though. I think they taste really bad. I do like Garden Burgers and Boca Burgers. Like honey said the Garden Burgers do have veggies- everyone that I've eaten have. So to answer you question I believe Morning Star would be what you are looking for.

What are boca burgers like? Do they have veggies in them (I'm talking chunks not minced or finely chopped - that's ok)

They have a few different kinds. I know that there is a type that is called- Garden Vegetable or Grilled Vegtable- I am not sure what the correct name is, but they have chunks of vegetables in the patty. There are a few other types- Grilled Cheese- which is my favorite- It has cheese in the burger. They also have an Orginal one that is pretty plain and a another one called Flame grilled. I think they are pretty good. I load them up with cheese, and a all kind of veggies and condiments.

boca burgers are pretty much the same thing as the moringstar burgers -- it's bsically textured soy protein and spices.  they're trying to be meat-like.  (if i take a boca burger, fry it in a pan, and put it on a white burger roll with american cheese, pickles, mustard and ketchup, it tastes almost like a mcdonald's cheeseburger).

garden burgers are not trying to impersonate meat (although i think there's a gardenburger hamburger style that is like the boca and moringstar ones).  they've got more grains and veggies in them (the veggies are chopped finely though).  the original flavor gardenbugers are my favorite.

so it depends what you're looking for -- maybe just try each one to see what you like.

I like Boca Burgers and Garden Burgers much better than Morningstar...although I do have to admit I love the Morningstar corn dogs

I can't help it.  I freaking LOVE corn dogs, and these give me my fix without the really bad fat and calories...

I am hooked on the corn dogs too and so is my brother the fast food junkie!!  They are awesome.  I also like the chick patties from msf.  They are great for office lunches.

I love their corn dogs and hot dogs too. I think MSF chicken nuggets are good too. I like most of their food except the burgers.

I'm trying the Boca cheese burgers tomorrow for lunch so I will give a report.  I love the msf chicken patties.  They make great sandwiches for lunch.

I tried the boca burgers and they weren't bad.  I'm not use to a beef taste which I think these had one since I haven't had anything that tastes like beef in over a year.  I got the cheese burger one.  It was a tad greasy after I microwaved it (lots of juice spewing out) so I just patted it down with a napkin and kept going.  It almost tasted like they put A1 in it but I'm not sure.  I might be imagining it.  Since I've only had 1 out of the 4 in the pack I can't really say if I hate them or love them.  As of right now they aren't too bad but I'd prefer a turkey burger any day but since they don't sell them at walmart already frozen I can't take them to work so these will do for now.
