I feel your pain.  I live in south Alabama and it is 74 here today.  I am so jealous of people getting to wear winter stuff today.  I feel like I will never wear all I have bought for this "winter" season.  Today I have on:

I wish I could be wearing spring clothes already!  I'd love to live someplaces where I could wear warm weather clothes all the time.  I guess the grass is always greener...blah, blah, blah...

TRUST ME, it is. I own three coats, and I have worn them exactly five times in the past four years. (total, not each.) I have also only worn my knee-high boots twice this year, and I was too hot in them both times. I would love to have a week here when I don't have to use the air-conditioner in my car. Even this week (which has been rainy!) it is still hot in certain rooms of my house. I HATE it.

-light brown brushed cotton 7s

-c&c tank in hobbit (reddish brown) under

-Express bluish/teal deep v boyfriend sweater

It's hot here too! I miss the cold...


Gold/Bronze snakeskin (faux) round-toed pumps


Brown pinstriped pants


Greenish blue lacy tie shirt (very pretty heart shaped neck but it's too low-cut to show off at work)


Pink cord blazer


Brown paisley scarf tied in a big floppy bow on my neck (sounds weird but looks cool - like those librarian sweaters from ann taylor awhile back)


Blue sparkly earrings


Silver watch, silver ring, pink ring on other hand and two small pink bracelets


Hair pulled back on each side with brown bow barettes - very schoolgirlish of me :)

It's stinkin' cold here today and we have more than a foot of snow on the ground! 



  • White beater

  • White cotton button down

  • Creamy-yellow beaded cardi (which I just got dirty from a UPS box - grrrr

  • Stretch bootcut jeans - medium wash

  • Black leather ankle boots w/contrast stitching

 


I am basically stuck wearing boots until the snow goes away (ie 4-8 weeks) and have had to start rolling up my pants so they do not get wet in the HUGE parking-lot snow drifts.  We can have 17 feet of snow for all I care - as long as it's not on the roads/sidewalks/parking lots!
