Logos and signature line handbags? A few ones that come to mind are the LV classic monogram line and the Coach and Dooney&Bourke signature lines. I've been browsing different forums and I'm picking up mixed sentiments about them.
Well, I have the LV Speedy 30 and love it, but I love all of the classic LV logo stuff.
I don't like Coach logo bags because everyone in my town has them (I don't mind some of their non-logo bags though). I also don't like D&B because I think their bags just look like teenybopper bags, and I despise their color monogram bag because it's a blatant rip-off of the LV Murakami collection (which I loved until every handbag manufacturer under the sun made their own version).
So I guess in general, I don't like logo bags other than LV (I bought my first Louis and now I'm biased )
I don't have a hard and fast rule against logos (because sometimes the bag can very stylish) but I definitely try to avoid. Anything with obvious logos is probably something I'm not going to wear.

I think logos usually say "look what brand I'm carrying" -- which is totally the look some people are going for. If you've gotta do it, I say make sure the bag is high end -- LV, Gucci, etc. I'm not really a fan of Coach or Dooney logos, and especially (shudder) XOXO-type logos.
I say I hate logos, but if someone handed me a monogram LV speedy, I'd take it in a heartbeat. I also have a serious weakness for those Gucci satchels from the 80s.

in general i prefer more funky bags. but imo, certain logo bags (mainly lv and gucci) are classics and you can't go wrong with them, well as long as you don't pair them with ratty sweats and think that makes wearing them outside of the house okay.
I carry a LV Speedy 25 and I'm in love with it. My mom also has some cool 80s vintage Gucci logo bags that I would take in a heartbeat. I think that if you're going to do a logo, make it worth your while and get a higher end one.
I don't like the Dooney logos and I'm very eh on the Coach ones. Anything below that and I just wonder why you bother to advertise it...
I'm not a fan of logos at all - even LVs. It's just too much for me. I don't mind small clasps with logos on them, like on Chanel bags for instance but all over logos are just not for me.

This is pretty much how I feel. I am not a fan of the little tiny logo bag, like the LV one posted at the start of this thread. I just think something about the little tiny logo bag bothers me....
But the bags that I am currently obsessed with are just logo funny enough! Goyard bags are made to order. They are an old-time luggage company like LV. You can personalize them with stripes and monograms.
i dont really have a preference about logos..i have the louis speedy 25, coach mini signature pink hobo, and i also have other coach bags that dont have logos, i guess i just buy what i think is cute, im not a very follow by the rules kinda gal.
I actually just bought a logo Fendi. I loved the shape and size, it has that nice slouchy effect and I think for the price, it should be quality. Also, I only know one girl in my town with one so it's not overdone and there aren't fakes around me. I also like Burberry plaid, I always have. I HATE little LV's and colored LV's because I see 1,284 of them a day. Older ones don't bother me though, they have that nice dark brown color to them. I mainly hate the $198 coach logo bags that college/high school girls buy to look cool. My final thought: I don't mind a logo as long as it's not overdone.
I don't like logos on anything (bags, clothes, whatever). It always cracks me up when I see people wearing the ugliest outfits but then they carry a logo bag. I don't know if they think it makes up for the horrible clothes.
