Jcrew - comes through again! - update*

I think I've posted on here in the past the amazing customer service I've received from Jcrew several years ago: - once they accidentally sent me a size 6 petite skirt instead of size 6, and I had bought it to wear to me baccalaureate mass for highschool graduation. I was distraught when I received it b/c it was much too short, and I didn't have time to return it and receive the correct one, or the money to just order the right one. Jcrew immediately sent me out a new skirt, without charging for shipping or anything, before I had returned the other, saying it was their graduation gift to me.
Two years later I broke down and bought one of their wool peacoats I had been lusting after - I wore it all winter and then at the salon I worked at, someone took it, and left in its place the same model, but with thermal lining. I called every single customer who had been there that day, but they all denied it. someone was a liar furious Anyway I don't know what possessed me to call Jcrew about it, but I did, and they accepted the stranger's jacket as a return, even though I'd used mine for a few months and this was not the same jacket I had purchased - full refund!
Now it's been about 6 years - in Dec 06 my grandmother gave me a $200 gift card to there for Christmas and I bought an expensive pair of white pants that ended up looking horrible on me. I moved, and forgot about them, and would occasionally come across either the packing slip or the pants and think "oh i need to return this."
I finally got around to getting the stuff together and realized it has been a WHOLE YEAR since I bought the pants, and that is embarassing, but I knew I'd never wear them, and they technically only accept returns after 90 days, so I returned them with a note saying I'd be happy to accept a store credit for even half the price, because they did not fit and I didn't want them. That was about 6 weeks ago, and I hadn't heard back, so I called them. They hadn't received my package and had no idea about it. Because the order was placed on Feb of 07, they had no record of it at all, orders are erased after a year. I hadn't bothered to copy down the tracking number and wasn't sure of the exact date I sent the return, which they could have refused anyway.
Without any evidence of me having even ordered the pants let alone returned them, they asked me the style number, price, etc, and said they would manually process the order and give me a store credit of $75.

They have repeatedly gone above and beyond my expectations; they make me feel good that companies like that still exist! At 26 I've been a loyal customer (insofar as I can afford) for ten years, and at this rate will continue to do so and recommend them to all my friends!

Ok, so it came, and it's actually for 29.99
:(
Still decent of them, but not quite as fun or cool as $75.
