I looove the VL Water Canvas foundation. It makes my skin look amazing. Once my concealer is all gone I may try the VL concealer instead of my current one. (I use Benefit Boi-ing and I'm not super happy with it. It works, but for $24 I want it to work better than the $7 Maybelline that I used to use.)

I tried the VL water canvas and my skin looked great on it. Too bad I can't justify the $48 price tag at all (my $32 Shiseido makeup stick is a stretch but it lasts six months, whereas the WC would be gone in like two months with my heavy hand). Nothing else really quite compares to how lightweight it is.
i went on makeup alley and saw some great reviews too. i want to try the water canvas primer foundation i think it is called.
Farrah- I tried the Benefit Boi-ing off a rec here and I think it stinks. Too sticky and doesn't blend well or something. I have basically just given up on concealer as I can't find one i like. I even shelled out $50 for the Chanel one and I don't like it.

It lasts a lot longer if you use a foundation brush with it instead of a sponge. The sponge absorbs so much of the makeup that you end up using a lot more than is necessary.

I actually do use a foundation brush to apply it. I just have a really heavy hand and a tendency to use more product than is actually necessary. I even tried going cheaper with MAC Studio Tech except that it was 75% in a month's worth of daily use.
I do want to try the Water Canvas again next summer, since it was really really nice and I did look good with it on.
I have some vincent Longo eyeshadow that I really like...evolution, it is a trio of browns. It stays on very well and I like the fact the I can mix and match the shades...I used to used Vincent Longo loose powder...but I fouund it too heavy
