I just got the new one in the mail and it did not impress me at all. I flipped through it in less than 20 mintutes, nothing caught my eye. Any opinions?
I was very glad that #1 I got mine before it was damn February (I think if you subscribe you should have it @ home before every doggone store does -IMO) #2 Alicia Keys was on the cover.I really like the beauty stuff I will try a couple of things that were in the lucky breaks..............Other than that...nothing to write home about.
I got a copy on Thursday and I was cool with it. I love Alicia Keys so I was happy to see her on the cover. The issue was okay. I liked the stuff in it, but I didn't feel like I was dying to get everything in the issue either.
I liked all of Andrea Linett's picks...or well at least most of them (although I admit that nothing was particularly a 'find', per se). I could've lived without the $95 love potion, though.
i don't get as excited as I used to when it comes that is for sure. I got Feb yesterday and i haven't looked at it yet. we have a road trip today so maybe i will look at it then.
I know the magazines aren't that great and they send Lucky whenever they feel like it but weighing the odds out, I still feel it is worth $1 an issue. I get at least that much enjoyment or maybe an idea or two to buy or try or a new outfit to put together out of my own closet.

I don't know. I just got mine, and I really liked it. I actually felt like things were more affordable, and I found a lot of things that I like. I guess it just depends on the person.

I liked a lot of things too:
-The Designers Remix jacket and the Ophelia ring on page 52 -White vest spread -Rebecca Taylor outfit on page 114 -All the jewelry on page 120 -The lace skirt outfits -Eileen Shields knee high python boots
I thought it was 'eh'. I did find a picture of the haircut I want, so I have something to take into the stylist next weekend, but I find most of the things they feature are becoming more and more unreachable and expensive. I also felt like the Alicia Keys article was a bit . . . gushy. I miss the 'real' people they used to use for articles like these - the 'real' style and creativity was much more interesting than a filthy rich celebrity picking through designer clothing for the cover shoot and taking home everything that fits her.

i liked the issue, not my fav. but definitely good. i liked a lot of the clothes featured (the calypso skirt, the bcbg wrap, the python boots that others have mentioned) and they also featured this bag that i was lusting over a few months ago. so overall i was happy.
This issue was a bit thin, but I thought it was okay. I like the "wear it now and later" features. I really like all the beauty products and the skin care article in this issue.
It was an okay issue. Alot of the stuff I feel like they are a little behind on- I've been wearing (and I'm sure alot of other stylethreaders) much of the stuff for months now. Examples: silky crinkles (48), gold (43), watercolor florals (51), lively mocassins (64)--btw, i love the br ones on pg 66--, babydoll camis and cardigans with trousers- this is practically my uniform (68), the lbd with something 'special' (111)...
I'm anxiously awaiting the nice, fat March issue. Hopefully, it will crammed full of great spring fashion.
I haven't received my Feb issue yet and it's so frustrating! I always see it in the store before getting it in the mail. A couple of times I've bought a copy in the store, thinking that I'm never going to get the issue, and then the next day it appears in my mailbox.
