My ipod mini came with these crappy earphones that are very uncomfortable and keep falling out when i run...for running and other activities, what are the best earphones in terms of comfort, quality sound, and staying put?  tia.

I think it depends on the individual.  My husband likes the mini ear buds that came with the player.  I have the same issue you do.  I use just a cheapie pair I got at Best Buy.  They stay on, and I don't worry about them getting banged around in my gym bag.  My best friend LOVES the in ear mini bud ones to use for her workouts, but I think they run about $100.

I bought these along with a mini Ipod for my SO for Christmas and he loves them.  I tried them myself and think they are great too.  He uses them at the gym too and has no problem.

I use the earphones that came with the iPod and I like them, although I saw a guy running with the Motorola Bluetooth earphones singing random stuff. The nice thing about Bluetooth is the wireless factor. Plus they looked firmly cemented to his ears.

I have the regular size ipod and i think it has the same size earphones....they are ALWAYS falling out...and my cousin has this same problem so she brings her own earphones. I thought I was the only one with this problem!! Its good to know its not just me

I hate most earbud styles, they always start hurting after about 10 minutes. i recently got these from Best Buy. they're cheap ($20) and the part that fits into your ear is soft and molds to best fit the inside of the ear. no problems with them falling out so far, but i havent hit the treadmill with them yet.
