you're totally right--plus, isaac brock has double d's man--you just can't hide those babies!  they were clearly destined to be indie rockers, but i am glad that they wore those promise rings while they were playing club dates so that once they hit the big time, the fans knew that they had been waiting for them. 


ok, but all kidding aside, did you see them on SNL? i think they were one of the few acts i have seen in the last few years on that show who actually did perform live and unassisted.  i think ashlee was certainly not alone in her lip-synching, i think she was just the one who got caught.  seriously, check the lauryn hill performance if you can find it online.  that girl can sing and she was not singing on SNL.

first things first: how hot did gallagher look in the convertible with his sunglasses? damn! and then in his vneck when he was schmearing the bagels? he's not even a real jew but he brings out my inner shiksa goddess.

i really liked the sweater marissa was wearing when she confronted jimmy on the boat.

oh and when seth said "because i dont care about tinnitus." i wanted to scream at the screen "plug your precious ears, seth!" cause my ears have been ringing for the past two days and i'm a little distressed about it. guess it's one of the side effects of being a groupie.

so, if he schmears the first half of the bagel, and his secret is that he uses the excess to start the second half of the bagel, what does he do with THAT excess?


i liked marissa's first boat sweater too--who makes it?


the tinnitus moment was precious. also the way seth said "you're welcome!" to zach after telling summer about the tutor. and when he had on his wife beater and asked ryan, "hey have you seen your wrist cuff around?" haha!


i'm really loving this seth-as-badboy thing.

that breath comment was priceless.


the sweater that with the hearts and stripes?  that was so cute -- reminded me of stuff i wore when i was in 2nd grade.


seth is hilarious -- i loved it when he stole his grandfather's car, and then when the police brought him home, he told his dad "someone must have called the cops"

edoli--not that sweater (isnt that MJ?)--the one she was wearing before that. it was a blue zigzag pattern in the front, but solid in the back and sleeves.

i also liked the dress marissa was wearing when she almost ruined jimmy's party.  i'm glad they didn't let her go all the way with the ruining--i feel like that's been done and it was a nice bit of restraint on the part of the writers. 


i think something is wrong with me because i am starting to like the marissa character a lot and not really feeling seth at all.  i didn't believe that he would think putting on a wifebeater would immediately make him cool and bad.  he was pretty cute with the cop scene though.  and the "where's that choker you used to wear?" line cracked me up.  marissa, though--brava on the crying scene with jimmy at the lifeguard stand--it was totally believable and i even started to tear up myself.  i actually thought she did a great job with that.

I think the sweater was MJ, too...looks a lot like it.


I'm really getting into the show now (i'm a late bloomer and didn't really watch much last season).  And I KNOW my FI really likes the show b/c he reminded me that it was on last night.  y'know, so I wouldn't miss it.  then he proceeded to watch the entire thing with me. heehee.
