I've never bought either of these designers before but really want a big slouchy brown bag.  Can you girls give me some opinions on the two?  I know I've seen other Style Threaders with the city tote.  I want something big enough for everyday (magazine, water bottle, flip-flops, various small junk) but would be nice if I could fit a laptop in there in a pinch!

I like #2 way better. But I'm not a fan of #1s silhouette anywhere. It reminds me of a manila envelope.

I love Foley+Corinna so I voted for them. I'd vote for that bag either way. I like the look of it more.

I like the shape of the city tote better in this case, but I have a RM and love the leather and quality. My RM gets heavy but isn't naturally so. Looking again, I change my mind. I like the slouchiness of the RM. Sorry for the flippityflop.

I love the City Tote.  I plan on getting one as soon as I find a good coupon code.

I think I'm going to have to go try the city-tote on in person and see if I like the huge one.  I really am falling in love with the Nikki but it seems to be impossible to find online...I think I like it because it looks similar to the bag I really really want (but don't want to pay for) the britt:

hmmm I'm just gonig to have to see that city tote in person.  Hey Lynnie or any STer with that bag...is the mini big enough to fit a laptop???  Not to carry around all day but comfortable enough for a subway trip home?

I voted for Foley & Corinna. From the looks of the photo, the RB looks like it would be awkward to go in and out of.

I voted for the city tote.

I own both of these bags and I really hate how small and difficult the RM bag is to get in and out of for such a large bag.

The city tote however is amazing. Easy and comfortable to wear 2 ways, outside pockets are perfect for car keys , cell phone etc ....

It is hands down one of my favorite bags ever!

No, it won't fit. I like the size because it goes between day and night easily, but have to admit, I can't really carry my life around in it during the day.

also does the nikki have a zipper to shut it? i think that would be a deal-breaker for me if it didn't..

Well I went to Bloomies this weekend and bought the Mid city tote!  I really liked the way it looks and the feel of the leather in person.  Even if I can't fit my laptop in it I needed a good brown bag.  Haven't cut the tags off of her yet but I think I'll keep her.

I have to admit I'm still smitten with the nikki.  I'm going to force myself to wait until I can see her in person and I think I'd rather have her in a fun color.  Like this except, my gay guyfriend told me it would scare straight boys away haha, it's too Elle Woods:

I just bought the Foley Corinna mid city tote in that color and I heart it, even if it is a little Elle Woods, that's just how I roll wink.gif
