If the purpose of her new show is to portray her as something other than a nasty skank, I think it has somehow went astray! Seriously, I have been wathching this for 15 minutes and I feel like those are 15 minutes of my life wasted. :(
I have no intention of watching this...but I must say I am sick of hearing about her marriage/divorce/affairs. etc... She needs to grow the f* up and move on.
I didn't watch it, but I loved the GFY take on it:
I don't know about you, but every time I see an ad for Denise Richards: It's Complicated, I fly into a foaming rage. It's NOT complicated. You had a brutally wretched and acrimonious divorce during which both you and the MaSheen said incredibly disturbing things about each other, and then you hopped into the sack with your best friend's husband before either of you were even legally single. That isn't complicated. Physics is complicated. Brain surgery is complicated. Figuring out what color shoes to wear with a navy blue dress is complicated. I would have accepted Denise Richards: It's Embarrassing, orDenise Richards: It's Awkward or evenDenise Richards: I'm Disgusting, butDenise Richards: It's Complicated I reject wholly. Don't pretend your life is gloriously and fascinatingly complex in a way that wasn't totally engineered by your own actions, and I won't pretend I don't hate your hat:

I saw the first episode, and it's so OBVIOUSLY scripted. I'm sure Denise got together with her producers and said, "Here are the topics I want to have scenes about: I want to talk about who I have and haven't dated, and I want to talk about this and that, etc."
And the pathetic attempt to get viewers to feel sympathy for her family situation is lame. I think the tear she shared during her speech to her dad was completely phoney.
And who cares about how many animals she has? Is that to show her fun and quirky side?
