I'm starting to look into buying textbooks for next semester. I usually check amazon & half.com Are there any others out there you've had success with? I got screwed by textbookx.com last semester but luckily my cc company took care of it for me.

This might sound weird but I always buy my books from amazon.com/uk. they are the same books as the us editions they just right uk edition on the cover. I always get them for half of what I would have paid for my books here even after shipping. It is somthing to look into.

i usually just put the book name and author into google and see what comes up.  i always do end up at amazon, though.

Good Idea! I actually checked into some stuff on amazon yesterday and lots of sellers have the paperback international edition which is also cheaper by $20-30 so i might give that a try.

try www.screwbookprices.com, not sure if they'll have ur school but give it a shot.  i don't have experience w/ them but seems like a cool idea.
