Currently I am renting, so I can't do any major transformation in my apt. But something that really bothers me is that I have 3 sliding glass doors. One in the kitchen, one in the dining room and one in the living room that opens to the patio. Now I don't know what to do with these. I have no curtains or anything on them now, but it looks very plain. I need something but I don't know how to dress up sliding glass doors. So I need some help. Any ideas?

I couldn't find many good pictures, but have you thought of using wall decals? There's a company called Blik, and they make removeable vinyl decals that you stick to your walls. I think they work on glass too. They aren't too $$, and they are really cool looking. They have a lot of different styles and colors. These would be completely different than cutains!

You could get some brightly colored fabric shower curtains (much less expensive than actual curtains) and string them up - I live in an apartment too and use 2 eye-hooks and some strong fishing line to create my own hanging system.  It's super-simple and when it comes down there are only 2 tiny holes left behind.  Or if you would prefer, you can go find some nice fabric and some fabric tape.  Just tape the hems and put them up using the same method as for the shower curtains.
