I need help making a resume. I have never done it before. Do you have any websites you would recommend for me to look at? I searched online and there are a billion, I was just wondering you all prefer.
The other thing is that I have never had a job. Well, I kind of have- I worked for my Dad as a secretary in the summers (I use the word secretary lightly). I have done a lot of volunteer work and some of it was with animals at shelters. Should I put that on my resume? The job is helping with psychical therapy for animals. I talk to the lady who is the owner and she said that she was looking for non-smoker and physically fit. Previous work experience wasn’t a must, but I feel I should put something else down besides working for my dad.
Any help would be great. Thanks!

It's been awhile since I've drafted my resume but I'm sure LSU's will help. I definitely think you should include your volunteer work, especially since you don't have a lot of work experience yet. Put down the secretarial job you had though -it doesn't matter that it was for your Dad, it's still experience! BTW, I don't know if you saw my reply to your response to my laptop post, but my hubby and I ordered the same Dell that you have. Were so excited!!
If you volunteer for a certain organization on a regular basis or did volunteer on a regular basis put that under the category Job Related Experience (where you list jobs) and describe it like you would a normal job. I agree with alb - definetly include the secretarial job.
