So from reading a couple of the threads here it seems like a few people are interested in joining. I know lsubatgirl suggested doing WW without joining... but I am still tempted to join.

Is anyone else interested in joining or doing WW without joining? Or have any advice if you've done it etc?

I feel like I was in the exact same place last year around this time but didn't do anything about it. Now at 25, I know it will just get harder to lose weight.

I actually did the point system without joining WW. My mom did and had the book of food points so I just went by that. It REALLY did help me. Since I am so busy and running around all the time sometimes I have to eat fast food and the little book even has points for most things you would find at most fast food chains. Anyway, just doing it on my own (and really I'm SO not great with motivation) I lost 15 pounds and have kept it off for over a year.

I do it without going to meetings.  You can buy the latest version of the books on ebay or from a local WW group.  I find its easiest to make my own excel journals/diaries and point lists instead of relying on carrying books around.  I also have a computer point calculator if anyone wants me to email it to them I can.  I get most of my ww info from www.dwlz.com. They have an awesome website and message board for WW with tons of info and recipies.

I can email anyone my files if you are interested.  Just send me a pm with your email address and I'll get them to you within the next day or two.
