Meet the Fockers Review

Ok I went to see this movie last night after waiting for a year to see it.  I had been all excited about it because I absolutely love Meet the Parents.  So after finally getting well I went to see it.  It was ok not great.  I had such high expectations for this movie based on the first one that this one just didn't meet those expectations.  It was funny but not crying funny like before.  It was almost like they were trying too hard to top the other one and in the process they just lost that sparkle.  It was also somewhat of a shock-fest to see how far they could go with the shocking/over the top bits. There were times I just felt embarassed to be at the theatre with my family.  Maybe its just me but who knows.

Anyways I'd see it again (like rent it) but it wouldn't be the top of my list if other things were out too.

I actaully thought it was really funny and so did my bf and his friends.  But my brother didn't like it and thought the first one was a lot better.  I guess it's a mixed reviewed movie but I for one would recomend it for a fun outing to the movies.

i thought it was really funny, but i never saw the first one all the way through (i always caught pieces when it was on tv) so i didn't have any comparison/expectations.
