I tried it at sephora last week and its ok. Kinda started irritating my skin towards the end of the day since its essentially a powder and my skin doesn't like just plain powder on it. It was pretty but the girl seemed like she had to go over my skin a few times with each powder to get any type of coverage, the warmth color didn't look all that good on my skin, and i just didn't know about the price tag. I mean $60 for powder that I didn't know how long it would last me. I know some girls on here really love it so maybe they can at least say how long the jars of powder last so you can see if the $60 will need to be spent once a year or once every 2 or 3 months.

I love bare minerals, I've been using for about a year. Check QVC, they put together good kits.
I never used foundation before this because the liquid/cream foundations always made me feel like I had to wash my face. This stuff is light but gives nice coverage. Leslie is going to be back on QVC on January 13th. She always brings good kits.

The foundation only costs $25. Who told you $60!? Also, it lasts a long time. A little goes a long way. The coverage is very different than other foundations. It's not supposed to look like you have make up on your face.

I really like Bare Minerals and I find it's the best foundation for me to use in the summer, since my face just becomes a massive oil slick. Anything else looks like grease and makes me break out. In the winter, I find the consistency to be a little too dry. Hence when I use it, I carry a spray bottle of water and mist my face whenever it feels super-dry (yes I am a high-maintenence geek). The coverage is nice and covers up most of my minor acne scars and works like a dream on discolorations. It feels much lighter than anything else I've ever had on my skin.

The big thing is that you have to blend and blend to get really good coverage. I found that when one Sephora MA blended and blended in circular motions with a kabuki brush, the coverage was amazing. But another MA just brushed it on like it was paint and I didn't like that nearly as much since it acted like plain ol' powder.

The foundation costs $25, the mineral veil (powder) also costs $25, and a kabuki brush will run you about $30 if you don't already have one. It's not the cheapest, but if you have the right skin (that is to say, somewhat oily), it's probably a good investment. My guess is that it will last about 4-6 months, depending on how liberal you are with product in general.

The kit that sephora was carrying in the store was $60! It was 2 powders, warmth, and mineral veil I think in the kit and it also had 3 brushes. It just sounded like a lot of money and I wouldn't have been able to return it if I got home and it didn't work out since I was out of town.
