i'm a big soy milk user. i always buy 8th continent light vanilla. i use it in my cereal every day. it's sold in the dairy case and i think it tastes better than the boxed kind on the non-refrigerator shelves (though i'm no expert). it tastes the same as regular and has fewer calories, so that's good too.
i'm so bummed i forgot to try the silk soy eggnog this year. by the time i got to the store on sunday the eggnog section was gone.
i always buy the kind in the box (though i'm going to try mizzle's rec) i like eden soy and pacific soy. eden soy sells organic soy and if i don't go with eden soy i usually get pacific soy. it tastes pretty good too. as far as calories, read the nutrition label. the calorie content varies from brand to brand and depending on what kind of soy milk you buy (light versus original, versus vanilla flavored).
I drink a lot of soymilk as well (I actually don't consume a lot of diary for various reasons). I use to do the box kind but once I tasted the refridgerated kind I never turned back. 8th continent Vanilla is definitely the best. Silk is also not too bad...good thing about silk is that it has less sugar than 8th continent.
I only drink refrigerated soy milk and I've always had Silk, since it wasn't overly sugary and I tend to eat cereals with a higher sugar content. However, I just recently tried the Trader Joe's store brand and it rocks...it's better than Silk, although I haven't tried 8th Continent yet. thanks for the rec, girls!
I like Trader Joe's soymilk. It's cheap and it comes in a variety of flavors like chocolate, strawberry, and coffee. There's also this green tea soymilk I love but I forgot what brand it is. I've gotten it at Whole Foods before.

The coffee one is my favorite. Green tea sounds good, too, I must check it out. Thanks for mentioning it!
this was taken from ivillage.com and I agree with all of it.
Soymilk is cholesterol free.
It contains cancer-fighting isoflavones.
It is readily available from organic sources (containing no pesticides).
Soybeans grow abundantly and actually replenish the soil they grow in.
Cow's milk (unless you always buy organic) contains pesticides from the feed as well as antibiotics. Those additional substances, not naturally found in milk, are added by the dairy farmers and can be harmful to humans, even in small quantities. The use of cow's milk also has ecological disadvantages. The amount of soy that could be grown on acreage used by grazing cattle could feed more people than the cows do.
Soy milk is also a great alternative to those that are lactose intolerant. There are also somethings that are wrong with regular milk (actually dairy in general) making it very unhealthy for humans. If you want more information you can private message me.
Edensoy (organic) unsweetened. I buy cases at a time, use it for cooking, with cereal, coffee, tea, or just plain. Soy Delicious makes wonderful "ice cream." I do eat regular cheese, but I love soy milk as my beverage.
a bottle full of creamy goodness and to think it's good for you!
if you really want to treat yourself try the 8th continent one...it has more sugar in it granted...but I honestly think it is the better tasting of the two..

omg i'm so jealous. i'm so mad that the eggnog section mysteriously disapppeared when i went to get the soy nog. ugh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
