i like the Origins charcoal mask. I use it once a week.
here are the specs::
Be free and clear.
Clear Improvement® Active charcoal mask to clear pores (tube)
When environmental toxins, dirt and debris get under your skin, its waste-filtering system gets jammed, pores get clogged, skin looks cloudy. Nature’s complexion clean-up crew gets to the bottom of skins overcast condition and clears the way for it to act its best. Activated Charcoal acts like a magnet to draw out deep-dwelling pore-cloggers, White China Clay absorbs environmental toxins, Lecithin dissolves impurities. Without all that “stuff” down there, skin “breathes a sigh of relief.”
HOW TO USE: Once a week or as often as needed, open pores with warm, moist towel and layer mask on. Allow to dry, rinse well. Watch your skin shake off the shroud of dullness and take on a new clarity.
But the free samples that we got from Mario Badescu are wonderful --- I loved their mask!
I can't wait to hit the store in NYC next week.

ditto mikacat on the Origins Clear Improvement Active Charcoal mask - it makes a visable difference w/pores and blackheads. It's part of my weekly beauty ritual and I recommend it to anyone who will listen.

I also wanted to mention that an asprin mask is great too. All you do is dissolve 6 or 7 uncoated asprin tablets in your hand with a bit of water. Then you apply it to your face and leave it on until dry. Bonus: the little asprin granules exfoliate as you rinse. You can also mix the dissovled asprin with the Queen Helene mask. Obviously don't use the asprin mask if you are allergic....and be prepared to sneeze a bit.
