I know this may sound a little strange but I've never had a cavity in my teeth. One of my teeth has been a bit sore for the past few days. Not painful exactly, but overly sensitive. Could that be a cavity?
I can't get in to see my dentist for almost 2 weeks and its bugging me.
I don't think that's strange, Brazen, I've never had a cavity either. Does your tooth feel sensitive when you touch it, or is it when you're eating or drinking? I think they can tell if you're getting a cavity by poking your tooth, and if there's a soft spot that's where the decay is...I could be wrong.
if you've got a cold right now, it could be a sinus thing. i had a bad cold earlier this year & when my dentist looked @ it, he saw nothing wrong, but showed me where the sinus cavity connected to my tooth. good luck.
