I'm so proud of my outfit today, lol. Is that weird? LOL...I walked into some offices at work and got the best compliments! Anyway...

- Free People brown pleated skirt (looks like wool but it's really cotton/flannel) with thin turquoise and green lines running through it to form the checks.

- Apple green cashmere turtleneck sweater

- Apple green slingbacks

- Mother of pearl large disc earrings and some gold bangle bracelets

I feel like I'm stuck in the 60's! If anyone watched "American Dreams" on NBC, you'll know what kind of outfit I have on

*(it's sparkly gap belt day!) silver leather braided belt from the gap. extremely happy about this b/c (like blubirde) i'd been eyeing it for awhile and finally scored it on sale. of course it helps that everytime i went to the gap by my house i would stick it behind all the other belts.

*this is where i fail miserably...payless fuggs. i bought them on sunday b/c there was supposed to be a noreaster on monday. of course there wasn't. but then i woke up 30 minutes late this morning, and just couldn't deal with real shoes. plus it's still cold (well relatively since it's 30 now and yesterday it was 18).

i think my outfit is pretty good, considering that i was going on 4 hours sleep this morning.

except without the satin belt. i snipped the loops off because i thought the ribbon looked weird and it annoyed me.

pink cotton cami with ivory lace at the top

dark brown wool pants. kind of high waisted, but you can't tell, plus they are really warm.

my usual brown boots

for outside: light blue coat, gray wool hoodie, giant gray scarf, l. green hat and gloves (kind of a light chartreuse), brown lesportsac bag with bird pattern

I'm camping out on the couch today armed with Gatorade, chicken noodle soup, stacks of magazines, a sketchbook and my laptop. In case you didn't figure it out, I'm sick. Glad I already had the day off today. Needless to say, I'm hot and sexy in my white flannel pj's with blue snowflakes, thick socks and nasty, unwashed ponytail.
