My fiance and I are talking about going to Key West for our honeymoon. There is an adults only inn called the Heron House that we were thinking of staying at.. its right on Duval Street. Anyone been there? Advice, suggestions, things we must do... Oh yea.. we will be there the 2nd week in May.. if that helps..

We went last month.... it is beautiful, but let me tell you there are no beaches.  Duval St is nice, but that is all there really is.  There are TOO MANY TOURISTS and too many tourist shops - that is the only thing that threw us off.  everything there is a rip off - we hopped in one of those bike wagon cab things - the guy charged us $13 because he decided to tell us at the last minute that he charges $1.50 per minute.


We will probably go back one day, but visit all the Keys - Key Largo and Islamorada looked very pretty on the way down.


Again - its very pretty but I wouldn't do a honeymoon there.

I think it is more of day trip kinda place. It is fun but I don't know about a whole honeymoon unless you are really into diving and deep sea fishing. At least in my opinion.
