Have you taken the MPT? I'm taking the Georgia bar this summer and I just noticed on the Barbri site that Georgia requires this, with 2 state essays and the so much fun MBE. When I took the FL bar we did 3 state essays, state mult choice, and the MBE.
So is it really bad? Since it's the bar exam, I'm sure it's bad. But is it REALLY bad? What areas can it test on? I know it's an essay. I did well on the state essays but I imagine the national essays would be harder and more random like the mult choice questions on the MBE.
I guess I'll find out soon enough. Other than Barbri, any other study program recommendations?
Do you mean performance tests? If so, in Cali, we had to do two of those:
Day one: 3 1 hour essays, lunch, then 1 3 hour performance test
Day two: mbe
Day three: same as day one.
Yeah, the performance tests suck, but barbri does a good job of prepping. Basically you have to write a letter or an affidavit or whatever from a closed universe law section. Just take a deep breath, read the materials, highlight everything you think is necessary and then throw it all into whatever written product they have you write.
