Damien Rice CD (Closer movie song)

Ok, so i ordered this cd after seeing the movie & loving that song that is played in the beginning & end & I just have to say it is awesome!  I definitely recommend it, it so soothing, yet eerily haunting at the same time.

Is that the "O" CD?  I love the song, "Volcano". I haven't seen the movie so don't know which song is played in it...

I'm glad you mentioned this cd! I've had it on my amazon wishlist forever and I (seriously) forgot why. I checked it out again and now it may actually move to my cart!

I liked this CD, then went to his concert and fell in love.  I had a whole new appreciation.

Did you see him with the Frames?  Ok, here's what I thought, in concert, he didn't compare to the Frames because the had so much energy and were so entertaining.  He just seemed weird as hell.  But for some reason after seeing it all and seeing the cello and everything, I don't know, I just absolutely fell in love with the CD.  When I listened to the Frames' CD at home, I didn't really like it.  So it's not like I loved him in concert, but I had a new appreciation for some reason.

Yes, I saw him with the Frames. I LOVED the Frames in concert but never got their cd. I loved the lead singer. That accent and the way he talked and joked with the crowd. But I agree, Damien had all this weird music and he dragged the songs out for too long. Then, I can't remember which song it is, but the song where he mentions a spaceship. There was this awful spaceship sound that I thought would never end. Anyway, I still love his cd even thought he sucks live.
