Christmas gift for couples?
Permalink Closed

MY BF and I are exchanging gifts with two other couples this year (one is BF's bro and his fiance, the other is his good friend and respective gf). I would be fine if I could just get each person gifts separately, but that's not the case. We give presents as a couple and get presents that are meant for both of us to enjoy. In the past, we've given CDs, but neither of the other couples are the music enthusiasts that my BF and I are.

I would give chocolates, but all the girls like Godiva and all the guys like Sees (which IMO is disgusting and cheap...), so there would be always be someone left unhappy. Coffee only works for the girls, since none of the guys drink coffee. Wine only works for one couple, as BF's bro and fiance do not drink at all.  And wine is something I have to get BF to buy (and he is a workaholic who never leaves the apartment) since I'm 19 so that can be a hassle. So it's kinda stressful.

What have you girls given to couples in the past that has worked out well?

BF and I are ready to get GCs if we can't think of anything, but I hate giving GCs because we are both more creative than giving GCs to Target that will be used to buy toilet paper. You know...I just don't think a**wipe is a good Christmas present.

I need help! TIA!

How about board games?  Think "couples" games, electronic editions and classics...not the "cheap" ones you can get anywhere, anytime.  Maybe some DVDs or movie gift certificates?  A nice picture frame or photo album?

I know you said you hate GF but my FH and I got a GF for a couples massage at a nice spa and it was a great gift. Anything they could do togetehr, or a GF for a cooking class would be great. Other ideas Board Games are fun, or put together the makings of a good dinner, maybe a gourmet pasta sauce, fresh pasta, a nice bottle of wine etc. But them a GF to the movies and package it up with popcorn and candies you buy at the movies. Do you have a  niced pic of ]

.them to frame that would be nice too. Maybe 12aq ./2 ( sorry kitten walked on the keyboard thereNM) Let me see if I can think of somemore.

Games are lots of fun if they ever have dinner parties.  I did this a lot last year with my friends and their guys.  Our favorite was Taboo.

Movies are good too.
