I have a couple that I wear that are not too cheesy looking. I have on one today (a cardigan with an argyle print and some scottie dogs), but I have felt funny all day long in it--like I don't look classy enough.
Yes. I have one that my grandma knit for me when I was like 7 and I think it's sooo cool. It's a cardigan that was huge was I was little, but fits perfectly now (except the sleeves are like 3/4). It's white and has trees and reindeer and bells. It looks like a sweater a little kid would've worn in the 50s. Other than that, absolutely not.
NO I am jewish! LOL No offense to those who do but I think if you wear that at HOME it is fine but in public it is tacky sort of like Juicy Couture whole velour/terry track suits.
Nooooo Wayyyyyy! And I'm a teacher too (hee, hee) Go Figure! I think they are the worst and trust me where I live everyone wears them. I must be in Middle Class town USA (AKA Orange County). Everyone except for teens seem to wear them.
No, I do not. My mom, however, loves them. And whenever we go to a holiday function with people from my bf's work, inevitably, there is a green and red array of snowmen, reindeer, Christmas trees and Santa parading around. At last year's Christmas party, I was one of the only ones who was not wearing a 'festive sweater.' I guess I didn't get the memo.
shpqqueenet, I think that is why I felt funny all day yesterday. I am a teacher and I felt so "teacher-y". I teach in a community college, but I have friends that teach elementary school and they wear those jumpers with apples appliqued on them and at Christmas they wear the Christmas sweatshirts. UGGGHHH!! I think yesterday was my last day for wearing a Christmas sweater. I have one more really pretty one, but I think it can just sit in the drawer. I felt like any moment, Stacy and Clinton (from What Not to Wear) were going to jump out from behind a bush and tell me I needed a makeover.
I would if I found one that was cute. Not one that had a huge Santa in the front or something, but one that was more subtle. I think I have seen some at Anthropologie in past years that were pretty cute, but I decided against them because the cost per wear ratio wasn't good.
NO! My mother-in-law usually gives me one every so often (and christmas sweatshirts that she has decorated herself) but I have never worn one of them...I feel bad for not wearing them but I just can't bring myself to do it. I would feel like such a dork!
