I've tried and it's okay. It was a little too drying for me, but if you have oily skin I could see how it would be awesome.

How did you know what shade is right for you? Also, is it sheer?

As far as shades...the best advice i can give you is to just go and look to see what seems like the right color....i use the very lightest! As far as sheerness, I think it is a very "buildable" product. You can either make it sheer or get more coverage if you need it.
