I only have 3 and they are all pretty much the same style and I really only ever wear the Earls.
-Earl bootcut jeans in dark rinse. These fit pretty well but they have very slight whiskering on the thighs and the pockets and hems are slightly distressed/frayed which I really don't like, but these were the only ones that looked ok of the 25 or so pairs that I tried on at Saks.
-Gap hip hugger jeans in a dark rinse. I got these maybe 3 years ago and really like the fit, but they close with a hook and eye instead of a button so the top of the fly always sort of sticks out and it bugs me.
-Forever 21 stretch dark rinse bootcuts. I got these when I had some sort of fashion emergency. I think I got invited out to something really casual at the last minute and bought these on my lunch hour.
I don't think I had any jeans in high school and I think I maybe only had 2 pairs in college and I didn't wear them often. I can never find really plain jeans that fit me well. I think when I get my holiday bonus I might take a trip to Barneys though !
I have over 30 pairs *total* but this includes a number of pairs that are gross and are hidden somewhere in the closet where I never see them. Current styles are:
Seven (pink A pockets)
True Religion X 2 (Joey dark wash and Joey destroyed)
CoH - uhhh, forget the style - it involved the word "saltwater" - that was the wash
Frankie B - about 4 pairs, this brand just works with my body type
Juicy - 2 pairs, also works with my body
Rock and Republic - 2 pairs, one i know is the 'Sting Classic'
Sass and Bide - not sure of style, their basic style, medium wash
Tsubi Peacock jeans
Chloe (from Stella M's time at Chloe - the way she cut pants was awesome) in a dark wash

Despite the fact I wear jeans or just denim in general a good 80% of the time and probably know way too much about them for my own good, I don't really have all that many jeans.
The cute pairs (AKA the ones I actually wear)
TR Joeys in Dark Handsand
AG Angels in Infinite
7 nonstretch bootcuts (except mine have holes in both knees and one across the back, but I still insist on wearing them...should be replaced soon)
Abercrombie flare jeans in dark sandblast and vintage sandblast...mine are from june/july '02
Mavi molly jeans v. similar to these
The gross pairs (worn only when I know I won't be seen by anyone important)
Delia*s stretch dark denim flares w/extreme fading, which now have holes in each knee
Calvin Klein dark sandblast flares
LEI medium sandblast jeans, that are high rise...they come up over my bellybutton
My BF, on the other hand, has 17. (including 3 prs. Sevens, 2 pr. of AGs...one of which is the male version of my Angel Infinites, and a Diesel).
I used to never wear jeans until I got into college.... then I owned one pair of Gap jeans. Once I got out of college, the Gap jeans ripped and I didn't know what to do. Somehow Gap completely changed their design of their jeans.... so I did alot of jean soul-searching post-college.
Now I have a ridiculous # of jeans. I think because I would just buy what fit, but now I'm starting to be more picky about what styles look good on me and not just good on the rack.
The only pair that I really like to wear now are my Yanuk jeans. They took a while to break them in, but now I really love them. I think I will get more pairs. The work well with flats, cowboy boots and heels. I also like how they're not "too-low."
I wear jeans ALL the time (well, when I'm not at work anyways). I have 11 pairs that include:
-2 pairs CoH Stretch Ingrid, I think it's the Pacific wash -2 pairs Old Navy Stretch Ultra Low-Rise Boot Cuts, don't remember the wash (got them a 1 1/2 years ago and they don't make the wash anymore) -3 pairs Old Navy Low-Rise Stretch Boot Cut: -1 pair AE really low-rise stretch Boot Cut, a faded wash with whiskering -1 pair G Couture jeans, they have seams down the middle of each leg (front & back)-light fading down the seams -1 pair Old Navy Ultra Low-Rise Stretch Bootcuts in Midnight wash -1 pair Blue Cult stretch Boot Cut, the tag says it's "Steam Wash"-I got these on sale for $78 about 4 months ago :)
I plan on buying another pair of CoH jeans in January, with the goclothing discount code.
~Medium wash stretch bootcut-Jordache (My Favorites: Hope to get some more of these for/after Christmas) "
Lmonet did you get vintage or did you buy the reissues? I'm obsessed with horses and I really wanted a pair... but saw that they were now selling them at places like bergdorf's. Somehow it makes me feel weird to buy a brand that used to be sold at Caldor for Bergdorf prices.

Nope, not vintage. Mine are the kind they sell at Wal-Mart for $16.88! I have short legs, a small waist, and thighs/booty and these fit perfectly! They also make them in regular and long lengths (I get the short length). They don't have the horses on them, just some decorative stitching on the back pockets.

-2 pairs of diesel "daze" jeans. one in a distressed wash, one in a greenish tint
-1 pair of diesel "stripp" jeans. they used to be a dark wash not so much now. these are my favorite jeans and they are on their last leg
-1 pair of diesel "medico" jeans, in a really light stone wash. they're a trouser style, which i love, but the wash is tricky to wear
-1 pair of diesel "hush" jeans in a faded black wash. i love the way these fit, but don't like the pockets on the front. and again the wash is hard to match things with
-1 pair of coh in the flare style (can't remember if it's faye or ingrid). these jeans stretch out so much and it's really annoying
-1 pair of trouser style coh's in a medium wash
-1 pair of james jeans in a trouser style. latest acquisition and i'm quite happy with them
-2 pairs of levis type 1 jeans. one in a really dark blue and the other in a medium wash. these are my everyday jeans and the cut is very similar to the cut of true religions
the sad part is most of these jeans i don't wear. i managed to grow an inch b/t when in the past year and a half which is great, but now most of my jeans (especially my diesels) are too short to wear with heels. and i haven't had the time (or money) to devote to the quest for new jeans.

OMG, me too -- mine was more like half an inch, but enough to make my pants too short. Aren't you 25 too? I thought women were supposed to be done growing by like age 18?!?

that is exactly what i thought! i'm 25 and it literally happened within the past year or so. at first i was like all my jeans shrunk, but then i realized it was impossible for every pair of jeans i own to shrink, so i measured myself and i was a full inch taller. i'm kind of holding out in hopes of adding another inch, but i don't think miracles happend twice

I these jeans. I used to own them and they were my favorites until I got sick and lost so much weight that I couldn't even keep them on with a belt. BTW, your whole jean collection sounds fabulous!
i have 3 pairs - one ratty pair of levis that i love, one pair from guess, and one pair of COH. i wear jeans a lot, so one would think i'd have more pairs. unfortunately these are the only three pairs of jeans in the universe that, after a long and exhausting search, i have found that fit me.
i'm anxiously waiting for someone to make designer quality jeans in sexy washes and cuts for people with big round butts and thick athletic thighs. i have actually considered quitting both of my jobs to reasearch creating this line myself.

Have you tried AG jeans? They have saved my life. The Legend fit is my favorite. They are low without being too low and fit like a glove. I have one pair of AG Angels and they are cute, but too low to wear anywhere but out to a bar.
Well I own 4 pairs of jeans that I wear on a regular basis: 2 express, 1 limited, 1 bcbg.
And I own one pair of French Connection that look wonderful even after wearing them for over a year but they are too big and I am too selfish to donate them to the poor right now because they are nice jeans. I just don't know what to do with them.
