and my dog's decoration (hee hee). Her collar says "never naughty, always nice." (I couldn't find one that said "never nice, always naughty" for the other dog)

UGH! We had a few people over last night for tree trimming and the final product is not done!
I accidentally stumbled into a few bottles of Pinot Grigio after I found that about 15 of my favorite glass balls did not survive the packing up and storage from last year. I was SO disappointed and sad. I have been collecting ornaments for years and these broken pieces were so pretty!
Let's just say I drank my pain, tried to put on a festive face and go on.
We had a flood in our basement after our hot water heater went kaput, while everything was stowed in large plastic totes the workmen evidently tossed (threw, hurled is more like it) the totes and even with my careful packing and bubble wrap, things got damaged.
I am bummed. We'll be finishing the tree today. Its always a major production and a few more friends are coming back today for more wine, nibbly foods and a happier face from me.
We had people over on Friday night and we were going to have a tree trimming party, but we all drank a little too much wine. So we'll be decorating today. I'll post pics later when everything is finished! We have two trees, one really big one (real and 9 ft. tall) in the living room and a really small one (fake and 3 ft tall) in the dining room (that's decorated already with purple balls and Hello Kitty ornaments. I couldn't resist them at Target! ).
Ok, my house goes through like a total transformation for Christmas time, I love it!!! I have a feeling my taste may be more formal than a lot of the girls on here, but it is very me
Here is like a panoramic view of the living room
Detail of the armoire, love my Santas
The stockings hung by the chimmney with care
The tree in the living room
The breakfast nook table
The bar and wreath in kitchen
The family room
The tree in the family room (needs a topper) & a close up of my baby tree on my sofa table (I'm so proud of this, I think it turned out so cute)
Little ornament tree in the guest room
Fireplace in the master bedroom
Hope you all enjoyed!!!
ETA: Oh, and of course I have icile lights around the outside of my house and a big lighted wreath
Jen...did you take those pictures yourself? The first one in particular is so good! What kind of camera do you have? (I'm sure you've said before, but I can't remember)
No real holiday decorations here...I did buy a little $3 tree at Target, and my fiance and I have our presents around it, but they kind of make the tree look even smaller! We're both leaving for our respective parents' houses tomorrow, so it didn't make sense to do too much decorating. Plus our apt. is tiny!
yes, I took them. I have a Nikon Coolpix 5200 - it is amazing! Someone sent me a really beautiful card yesterday and I took pics of it - very close up...(just for fun) The candle ones I should have taken with a tripod - the second one came out a little fuzzy because I couldn't stay perfectly still.
This is the card
again - I didnt have the flash on so the lighting isnt totally right - but I was just playing around. You get the idea
