Spring comes early to Arizona, so I have been thinking about my wishlist a lot. What is on yours? Is there any style you loved last year but are now "over"?
I'll post pics later, but right now my list consists of pencil skirts, summer cashmere cardigans, mary janes, a few dresses maybe with less volume than last year's empire waist silhouette.
Spring is a long way away here, but it rained today which got me in the mood for it.
I feel myself gravitating toward grey, navy, pink, and cream. Organic-y jewelry. A slightly heavier (but still streamlined and by no means "clunky" shoe. Jersey dresses, pencil skirts, and A-lines that aren't to wide. I think what I'm goign to end up being really picky about is silhouette- I'm liking things that are looser, but not so loose that it falls off of me or hides my shape.
I'm over the fuller skirts. And I'm over that mustard yellow we all loved last Spring....I saw a picture of myself in it and it looked awful on me.
skirts! I have like a billion, but I can't ever have enough, I think. I need to find some magical shoes that look good with skirts, are summerish, with a bit of a heel, but still casual enough for my jeans-and-sweatpants-infested workplace.
I am forever on the lookout for "things that belt." I know that is something most people got over ages ago, but I have yet to find even one piece that fits me that looks good belted.
And I need to toughen up my look a little bit. For no discernible reason, I've been buying a lot of sweet and feminine things for the past year or two, and that's not really "me" - at least, not when I put them all on at once.
