There isn't much drama this year. I like Christian, Rami and Jillian so far. My tivo cut off the ending this week and I had to go online and find a spoiler to see who one.
This is actually the first season I've been able to watch on TV and I'm just slightly underwhelmed. I'm disappointed that so much fuss is made over this show and it's just eh to me. I do enjoy watching but don't lose a gasket if I have to catch one of the three thousand reruns that Bravo shows. Anyway...I like Rami and Jillian the best. I think that Christian actually has the most potential to become an actual designer with name recognition but he's very very young. And Chris is hilarious. A small tiny part of me is glad that Jack had to leave so Chris could come back and entertain us all.

i love chris, too!
one of my friends is of the opinion that the producers chose talent over drama, since none of the previous winners/contestants panned out. they need a legitimate designer to come out of this show, and alison kelly's hellacious collection on shopbop doesn't count.
ps: you could fashion a drinking game around ricky and the frequency of his tears. he drives me crazy, but i don't really know why.

no kidding! when he started tearing up the other night, i was like, is he really going to cry again? and then i felt bad because he did seem to have a genuine point, that time anyway.
i really hated christian at first, but he's definitely my favorite now. and i felt bad that he got paired up with the loud obnoxious teeny-bopper. well, they were all kind of obnoxious, but his client was particularly a pita. she was all trying to take all the design credit one minute, then bitching about how awful it was the next.
besides that, i'm bored too. and they have had some really odd challenges. the hershey store? really???
but i do still tim "you've got some flotsam and jetsam on the floor here" gunn.
I wish they would let them make real clothes (but I guess that is too boring for tv)! The Hershey's thing was ridiculous, also the plus size clothes thing. That wasn't fair that one guy got the wedding dress, there is not a whole lot you can do there for a day look! The judges mentioned how he could have used all the wonderful beads, who wears beaded ensembles during the day?
I think the wedding dress was fair - who said he couldn't dye it? When I saw it, I pictured a white, A line skirt with wide belt and maybe cardi or some sort of shirt tucked into it. Very 50's.
I think Ricky is redic with the crying. Maybe he has low bloodsugar?
I wish this season had more wearable options and less "hey this is a crazy idea/how can we drive the designers nuts"
This season is pretty boring so far. I love PR, but all of the previous seasons have been much better IMO. That being said, Christian has become my favorite, and I never thought I'd say that! I think I have a love/hate relationship w/him. Sometimes, he annoys the crap out of me, but I also think he's hilarious and the only one who has shown consistent talent through all the challenges. I also have a feeling if I knew him IRL, I'd be his friend
I am pissed that they sent Kevin home last week and Kit home this week. They have both designed some quality pieces, and Ricky needs to go the hell home! He cries in every friggin episode, and it looks like more tears next week
I'm anti-Ricky as well. Crying? There's no crying in fashion! Okay, there's probably a lot of crying in fashion but I don't want to have to see it. I liked Kit. Too bad.
I saw a bumper sticker the other day that said "Tim Gunn for President." I think I'm going to search it down and buy it. Love him.
