STYLETHREAD -- LET'S TALK SHOP!

My mom really needs a new computer at home.  Her existing one is super old and it was a cheapie to begin with. 

Now that the holidays are over, I cannot find no sales and deals on computers anymore.  If there is a sale, it's really stingy.  Does anyone know of ways or places to get computers for a deep discount and/or when some stores/sites might have sales?  I have checked Dell Outlet, BestBuy, WalMart, even my state employee discount is not even worth talking about.  WalMart had the perfect Dell on a doorbuster sale before Christmas.  She should've gotten then, but she didn't know she'd have $$ till after the holiday.
