I have had daily stomach trouble for a long time. Years. It got so bad that I have had numerous tests, visits with dieticians, etc. Nearly every day (esp at work), I felt sick and suffered from stomach issues toward the afternoons and evenings.
I cut out coffee and most other caffeine, save chocolate, starting about 2 months ago and felt a difference after just one week. I lost the extra weight I had gained; I have more energy. I feel so much better. It's been amazing.
I never drank that much of it (just a cup a day, 4-6 days a week), but I think it was really hurting my stomach. Several years ago, a friend suggested coffee might be the culprit and I ignored her. I wish I would've listened back then.
oh im so happy for you. ive been experiencing something similar lately and have been wondering if its been an allergy. what a relief for you! yay!

yay! I've been toying with the idea of cutting it out starting new years (scary thought!!) and this gives me even more motivation! I'm always exhausted, and I think getting myself off caffeine will probabaly help with that.
My trainer keeps telling me to ditch the coffee and diet soda , its like cutting off my right arm to give up both at the same time. I am weaning myself off the soda easily, but the coffee is proving much harder!
