I really like OPI's Light My Sapphire - I posted it above. It's a true navy. I haven't tried Russian Navy, but it looked a little sparkly to me, so I got Light My Sapphire instead.
I think I'm stuck in a color rut. It's either Essie Wicked or Chanel Vamp if I bring my own, for my toes. For fingers it's always Essie "It's Delicate" which is a good natural color for my nails.
Mitz, that Essie After Sex color looks amazing (I love the name, too)! I will have to buy next time I am looking for a new color.
I have been wearing Revlon Vixen, my favorite since I have been a teenager, and OPI Light my Sapphire lately. I also tried OPI Vodka and Caviar; if you are looking for a bright red, I highly recommend it. I know not everyone likes bright red fingernails but if you keep them short enough, it doesn't look too harlot-ish (the comment I have gotten by other people!).
I also have OPI Russian Navy, and I like Light my Sapphire better. Russian Navy looks too blue-ish to me.
Claudia, I buy my OPI from Ulta, where they have a great selection. Many nail salons also sell OPI polishes.

It's not sparkly when it's on - its the perfect navy - really dark
