OK maybe a lame poll but what is that one song that every time you hear it reminds you from a scene in a movie? For example every time I hear Try a Little Tenderness by Otis Redding always reminds me of the scene in pretty in pink where Ducky comes sliding into the record store and sings to Andie.
What's yours?

If You Want to be Happy - Mermaids Kissing You by Desiree - Romeo+Juliet Hold On by Wilson Phillips - Harold and Kumar
Not movies, but Nobody Knows Me by Lyle Lovett was played in the episode of 90210 where Dylan's bride is killed. I'm getting misty just thinking about it eta: he clutched her wedding dress and cried. It was heartwrenching!
Somewhere over the Rainbow by Israel somebody (I can't remember his last name) was played in the ER episode where Dr. Green dies
Breathe Me by Sia will always remind me of the last scene of the last episode of Six Feet Under.
* Tiny Dancer - Elton John- the bus scene in Almost Famous * In Your Eyes by Peter Gabriel - one of the most famous scences in a movie - John Cusack w/the boom box over his head in Say Anything.

oh, i love that scene (from "say anthing"), great choice! mine is "waiting in vain" by annie lennox-the scene in serendipity where john corbett asks kate beckinsale to marry him
Al Green's "Let's Stay Together" from Down To You with Freddie Prinze Jr & Julia Stiles. Bush "Mouth" from An American Werewolf in Paris Jill Sobule "Supermodel" from Clueless "Laid" ("the bed is on fire" song) from American Pie
Apparently I only have a memory for these things when they involve crappy teen movies!

These were absolutely the first two I thought of. The third was You Spin Me Round (Like a Record) from The Wedding Singer. And then thinking of TV, the theme song from Greatest American Hero (Believe it or Not) makes me think of Seinfeld and George's outgoing answering machine message.

"Question" by the Old 97s reminds me of when Turk proposes to Carla on Scrubs. Ok, not a movie, but...
And "Glasgow Love Theme" reminds me of Love Actually, even though I can't remember at which part exactly it is played in the movie. But it's played on the DVD menu

City of Blinding Lights--Devil Wears Prada during the Paris montage. Real life significance--I first saw DWP on the plane on my way toParis and I totally started getting so excited during that montage because it felt like I was living in my very own movie!
