I'm not the only one watching the new season am I?? Thoughts on last night's premiere?
I thought it was good - certainly held my interest more than the most of last season. I like Lexie Grey and I feel bad for her that Meredith is such a bitch. I loved the end when George showed up and told Izzie he loved her too. I realize I'm one of the few who actually likes Izzie and George together. I also think the storyline between George and Lexie is going to be interesting.
I thought the one hokey part was Izzie saving that deer. I'm all for saving animals, but it just didn't seem to fit.
I thought last night's episode was great - way better than most of last season, excluding the finale. I hope Meredith and McDreamy continue to be "together" but not officially together, if you get my drift. It's how they started out and it works best for them or at least for her. (Okay, it works best for my viewing pleasure if I have to be honest.)
George is a bitch. I'd hate being married to him. I hope he stops pouting and enjoys being a star intern, even if it's the second time around.
I almost turned it off when the kids were saying their goodbyes and loves, etc. to their dad (neck broken thing). It was too sad. That's the reason I stopped watching ER back in the day - too many scenes of old people dying, kids dying, etc. I couldn't take it anymore. I like to cry but not that much.
Good first episode. I hope the rest of the season is as good.
Meh. I didn't love it...I'm glad Isiaih (sp) Washington is gone, but I do miss his presence on the show. I thought it was just okay overall. Izzie was really bugging me and usually she's my favorite. I just didn't think the whole episode "jelled" for me.

I liked it. I don't think it was up to par with seasons 1 and 2 yet, but better than last season. I do miss Burke and Addison being on there. I definitely think they added something to the storyline.

I liked it too. I'm glad George told Izzie he loved her too, I would've started getting annoyed if they dragged out his decision for too long. I knew he and Callie were doomed as soon as he kissed Izzie in the elevator sober and not drunk. And remember when he helped her with her bone marrow transplant for her daughter? Loved that. Callie just always struck me as wanting George but mad at him for him not wanting her enough. That relationship just never jelled with me. She should just have more McSteamy make-out sessions--a girl could do a lot worse!
Oh and I like what they're doing with Meredith and McDreamy too.
I tivoed it but the episode clicked off when George showed up at Izzie's door. So from this I'm seeing he told her he loved her - & then it went off? Did he say anything about...well....his wife? I don't dislike them together but I have issues with the whole cheating on the wife / dishonest thing. Just come clean & get divorced already.
If they go back & forth with the Meredith Derek thing I'm going to be pissed.
