Ok, so I had my important interview today w/ the president of the publishing company. I decided to wear the suit and just add a different shirt underneath and bring different shoes and bag.

I have to leave my job and go directly to the interview, so I bring my suit in my car and figure I'll just change in the car.

I give myself an hour to get there, even though it only takes about 20 minutes, because I'm paranoid about being late.

I run into THREE major accidents on the freeway. I get to the parking lot of the place I'm interviewing with about 10 minutes to spare. As I'm pulling into the parking lot this stupid van hits my car!!!!!!! So, now I have 10 minutes to try and figure out what I'm going to do about my car situation and change into my suit. STRESS!!

The guy that hits me is this Russian dude who barely speaks english and keeps telling me not to call he cops. Great. So I quickly take down all his info and I'm just like, "dude, I don't have time to call the cops..so chill" I then jump into my car, get naked infront of like 5 people walking by, throw on my suit, and make a run for the door. I made it inside w/ 1 minute to spare!!!

I think the interview went OK but I was in so much shock from having just gotten in a car accident and being majorly pressed for time.

And then I had to drive back to my job, change into my normal clothes and act like nothing happened. biggrin

Ugh. You prepared so well and all that stupid sh*t happened. It's awesome that you made it into the office when you did! Kudos.

OMG that has to be the craziest interview story I have heard! It really shows dedication though. If I were you, I would have told them the story!
