Looking for Pretty, Modern Wallpaper Online
Permalink Closed

Blueprint magazine recently ran an article with gorgeous, modern wallpaper designs.  I have also noticed most of the fashion magazines use gorgeous wallpaper in the background of their photos.  The problem is that I cannot find great wallpaper in stores or online.  I really want to use some wallpaper in my masterbedroom makeover, but need some help.

My favorite wallpaper from the article is below.  I also love really modern looking floral prints, and really chic looking tropical look (I saw a gorgeous wallpaper in a fashion mag that had tropical birds throughout, tres chic).  Anyone know where I can find this type of non-traditional wallpaper?  I want to get started with my room makeover this month, if possible, but I can't do it without finding the perfect wallpaper, because it's what I'm going to base all of my other colors on...

This is one of my favorite sites:
http://www.cole-and-son.com/
they are based in England, but their CS is great. They will send samples too, mine arrived in like 3 days. I haven't decided on a pattern yet, so I can't tell you how good they are about getting the actual rolls to you.

This company is in Cali and has great paper too:

I love Walnut Wallpapers, they're so pretty. Ferm Living is also a great site.

I also enjoy two lovely design sites/blogs: Design Milk and Design*Sponge. Both feature cool and pretty wallpapers fairly often. I don't think Design*Sponge has a big listing of their wallpaper features and the site seems to be unsearchable as well. If you have time, you might want to peruse, since she does list links when she mentions products.

Design Milk and Design Sponge are great blogs to check.  Also look at Decor8 and Apartmenttherapy.com.  Domino also has a great online guide.

I also second Walnut and Cole.   I bought this Cole wallpaper on Ebay for my bedroom and it is gorgeous

My favorite site is probably http://www.wallpaperdirect.co.uk/.  Obviously they are in the UK but they do ship to the US and you can also try to find some of the brands they carry locally.

Decoratetoday.com has some great wallpapers.  They also have a lot of gross ones so you have to sort through everything.  I like a lot of the Shand Kydd designs.   I might use this for my entryway

I love this but I don't know where/how I'd use it

This might be too non-traditional for you but Cavern has some great patterns.

I got all of this from Slave To Target http://slavetotarget.blogspot.com/ and they also suggested Wall Pops if you don't want to commit to wallpaper. Some examples:

Wow, you ladies know how to deliver!  THanks so much for the links.  I have been perusing several of the sites so far and you all know exactly what I am looking for so, thanks again.  I am a little overwhelmed by the choices right now, and am contemplating my options on color.

Do you all think this wallpaper would look nice on a bottom half of the wall with a light pink, orangy pink, or peachish painted upper wall?

Or maybe this wallpaper with just a plain white upper wall, or what other color might coordinate without looking too busy, or is it just too busy???

This is all I've come up with so far, but I have a lot more to go through and consider yet...
