STYLETHREAD -- LET'S TALK SHOP!

Hello. My husband and I are going to Burlington, Vermont later this month. Anyone been? If so, can you recommend attractions, dining, and other things in this city? We like artsy, foodie, city-centered, and light-nature activities. We are staying with family. I'm a little skittish about Vermont because I have been there twice before (not Burlington); and did not have the greatest of time. We were in small towns with boring people (sorry) both times. East Barre and N. Hero are the places I've been. Any help would be great!
