Best SF Restaurants?
Permalink Closed

So, I'm going to be in SF for a long weekend and the 4th of July...where would you eat?

I lived in the city for a summer a few years ago and really loved Boulevard, Slanted Door, One Market...but I want to know what the cool restaurants are now????

We're staying around Union Square and then Nob Hill.

Also, is it worth going to the Redwood Room or Top of the Mark?

DH loves any restaurant that's sort of cushy, and we eat pretty much anything!  The one restaurant we are definitely hitting up is Jackson Fillmore in Pac Heights.

THANK YOU!!!!

I haven't been to the city for a few months, so I don't have any recommendations but this website: www.yelp.com has a lot of reviews from locals in San Francisco.  Hope this helps!

I would say the Top of the Mark would be nice for dinner.  I went for Sunday bruncy and honestly...eh.  The view was double-a-mazing but would have been better at night IMO.

Thanks!  I'll definitely check it out!  Also, how is the redwood room?

This is kinda old but we were there last month and had a great dinner at The Fransiscan. It was great food, ambience, and lovely to watch the sunset.

Thanks everyone!  We had a wonderful time - and I have to say that my favorite meals - as always in SF are the Gordon Biersch fries at the ballpark and a Ghirardhelli sundae with the dark hot fudge.  But, we did get to go back to Jackson Fillmore, Le Coloniel, and some random little place in SOMA that was awesome.  All in all, very tasty eats!
