recently, I threw on a new jacket, wore it all day, and was asked by my husband, "what is hanging under your arm?"  it was a damn tag!  and to make it worse, it was a forever 21 tag and we had been running errands all day... I was mortified.  this is the second or third time this has happened to me - the most recent before this one was in an important meeting and I had my arm over the back of my chair and my boss pointed it out -- again, mortified...

I hate it when tags are attached under the arm! why do they do that? additional advertising? has this happened to anyone else? I felt like Minnie Pearl...

I don't do the tag thing very often, but I do the size sticker a lot!  You know, I stretch a little after working on the computer for half the day and feel some plasticky thing on my pants.  Adhered is a long strip stating my

i think they do tags attached underarm to prevent people from wearing and returning.

i do the size thing a lot and forget about it.

Yea Ive been known to leave on that lil sticker too....... and its never when I'm in a decent size, its always XLLLLLLLLLLLLLL

Once I put on a winter coat and forgot to take it off the (wire) hanger. I was mortified when I realized that I'd been wearing a hanger all day.

I do the size thing a lot...I've actually had other people catch it and they're trying to make light of the situation by saying "well, at least it was an S and not an XXXXXL sticker"

I've done that before with tags attached under the arms.
The most recent one was a small black cloth tag on a safty pin under the arm of a sweater,it wasn't spotted until I raised my arm up to ask a question during class and my friend saw it.ashamed

I do the sticker thing a lot, but thankfully someone always catches it and tells me before I've worn it for hours and hours

You are not alone!

I recently wore a new dress to lunch with my fiance. I ran into an old coworker and a bunch of her friends and we all chatted for awhile.

Then, later in the car, my fiance is like, "Oh, is that a tag hanging out the back of your dress?"

Very humiliating.
