I used to just use my regular foundation and powder for underneath my eyes, but lately that is just not cutting it. Does anyone have any suggestions? There will be a ton of picture-taking events in my life in the next few weeks, starting tomorrow...I'd rather not look like I haven't slept in a week on a picture people will see forever after.

I don't have any drugstore recommendations. I have ALWAYS been disappointed in texture/staying ability/blendability, etc.
My HG concealer for years has been Clinique Line Smoothing Concealer. I buy the light color for my fair skin (which is the lightest they offer even though its not very pale). It brightens the eyes and doesn't settle in your bags. Plus it is about $13 which is a lot cheaper than other brands. I also use it on red spots, blemishes, etc.
I use Boots No. 7 Radiant Glow concealer from Target. It's expensive for drugstore/mass market, but it lasts a pretty long time.
Besides the cheaper packaging, I can't tell much of a difference between the $13 Boots and the $33 Kanebo/$36 YSL Touche Eclat I used to get. I use the Medium one and it covers my undereye circles like a charm!
thanks! I went out before anyone responded, so I just picked one and am hoping it works. I can't even remember now what brand it was! I was in a rush to get home for Grey's Anatomy...anyway, I will be sure to remember this thread if/when my drugstore version disappoints
