i'm graduating uni in july, and i'm just applying for my first job ever as one's just come up in my home town. there's a bad shortage of jobs right now so please send good vibes!!!! got my fingers crossed pray.gif

ok i am not happy right now. i logged into my account on the jobs site to complete and submit my application, since the closing date was 15th May 2007 - Tuesday, and the advert did not say that they would close early if they got enough applications - which some other ones have said.

but when i logged in, it said the vacancy was closed so i couldn't finish and send in my application - and the vacancy said it closed yesterday (13/05/07). so i thought i had just made a mistake and got the wrong date and got upset, but then i realised i had an email that confirmed that i had started my application, and it says specifically that the closing date is 15/05.

so i don't know what to do, because i didn't get it wrong, but it won't let me submit anything! can i phone them and ask if they will accept it anyway?! cry

I would definitely call them! And send your resume regardless of what they say. It never hurts to try.
