Trip To Vegas!

Hello!  I just joined!  I wanted to get some advice on what to wear in Las Vegas.  We are headed there over Memorial Day weekend.  We are planning to go to a Cirque du Soleil show as well as going out in the evening!  Does anyone have any suggestions for clothes for going out at night!

Welcome to Stylethread!

In Vegas you can get away with anything!  Have fun with it.  Check the weather for that weekend and pack some fun dressy outfits.  I like wearing jeans and a dressy top when I'm just going to be at the tables.  If I'm going to show or a nice dinner a cute little dress or skirt is fun.  My only warning is that if you plan on leaving the place you're staying at to walk around, wear comfortable shoes!  You will do much more walking than you think going from one place to another!

I agree with HALAH. Wear comfy shoes but you can get away with wearing anything in Vegas. I always like taking my summer/jersey dresses with flip flops or flats. For shows I saw people wearing anything from jeans and a tee to a nicer dress. I personally like dressing up for the shows and last time I wore a nicer summer dress with my heels.

Welcome! I third the wear comfy shoes sentiment! The casinos are so big that it is misleading how far you have to walk to reach them. You can pretty much get away with wearing just about anything in Vegas, but I do like dressing up for the shows. Some people wore jeans to the shows some really dressy dresses. I like to go somewhere in between. Depending on which Cirque du Soleil show you are going to also, because I think people dress up a little more at O, not sure if it is because it is at the Bellagio or what.  Hope you have fun!
