(okay- i know its water weight- but just wanted to share!)
My goal is to lose 10-15lbs of fat and to get toned- so i know this will take me 6 wks to 8 wks and i'm not making any weird shortcuts like starving myself.
But this week i've been following a modified detox diet, which includes: 1 bottle or half a bottle of Synergy Kombucha tea from whole foods (i think this is key- it is good for appetite control) daily 2 neptune krill suplements (i've heard this is good for acne/pms- so i'll see how it goes) lots of fresh produce and things close to the ground- eggs, veggies/fruits, steak, fresh baguettes and nice cheese very little refined sugars/wheats less dairy than usual- though not cut out entirely very little processed foods/canned soups and anything high in sodium lots of water, NO coffee or alcohol (will have to reintroduce alcohol to my body soon- lol)
plus i just started exercising again- i went running for 30 mins yesterday and did the carmen electra fit to strip dvd earlier in the week- i also joined a gym by my house so i can start lifting weights again. And i'm walking around a lot- i walked 2 miles on my last lunchbreak.
i'm definitely not starving myself-last night i had filet mignon with baguette and comte cheese, and a salad of spring mix and olive oil/balsamic vinegar and some sea salt. I'm eating 3 really good meals a day that I prepare for myself or in advance, and not allowing meaningless snacking- only something if I feel hungry.
Anyway- I just wanted to post this because even though it sounds like common sense, i thought it could help motivate someone- the kombucha tea is great (i get the fruit ones- original and ginger ones )
Thats motivating for me, I ordered a treadmill and I plan on getting rid of this baby weight once and for all...congrats on the weight loss....6 lbs is lot...water or not!!!
