It just started here, so no comments yet. Have you seen this video of the brainwashing scene from a few episodes back?

It was.... kinda fluffy. I was just hoping that Hurley & Charlie were not going to die in that car- b/c I could picture Lost doing that. Or the scene at the end where Hurley is driving around by himself- I thought the car was going to explode. So I was I relieved when none of that happened. I also thought it was predictable at the end when Kate went looking for Rousseau to help her find Jack.

I can't check out that brainwashing clip right now, I will check when I get home. OH, also I just rewatched last week & I'm assuming that when Ben promised Jack he could go home- he meant back to their "home."

I like that we got a Hurley flashback, but I agree -- boring. I didn't feel like it explained all those freaky things that happened to Hurley. And the moral of the story was what? We make our own luck?

Oh man, and I actually like it this week - after being so aggrivated for many weeks in a row. I have come to accept that they won't answer ANY questions - so at least it was entertaining. I Hurley

I generally liked this episode.  I think I was just happy to see the good, old regular characters that we've grown to love.

I like Hurley's storylines.  They mysterious numbers are one of the show's mysteries that intrigues me the most.  I thought it was great to see all the boys having fun spinning out in the van.

I laughed so hard when Sawyer said to Jin, "Well, look who's hooked on phonics."  That dude cracks me up.  I'm glad he's looking a *little* cleaner since they are back on their home beach, and it made me super sad when he was looking around for Kate at the very end.

I hated this episode. It was boring and the plot didn't progress at ALL. If you're not going to answer stuff, the least you can do is raise more questions.

I actually liked the episode. I was so glad to see the old charectors again. I am getting really frustrated that they are not answering any questions ... Isnt it about time they tell us something?

I agree that the episode was a little boring, but I think it was necessary in terms of plot points in order to get the show back on track.  Now Sayid and Locke will be more involved as they go back for Jack with Kate and now Sawyer's back with the rest of the group to get the group dynamic going again.  I thought it also revealed that Sawyer's gotten a bit more sentimental--it was clear he was missing Kate and once Kate and Jack come back, I expect the love triangle will heat up more.

Dude, we totally have the same thoughts when it coems to Lost! I thought this was probably the best episode this season. Like you said, if they're not going to answer questions then I want to laugh! I loved the part where they were trying to tip the van over, and Sawyer was teaching Jin the 3 English phrases he needed to know.

ETA:  and I would be a happy camper if Jack just stayed on that island with the Others.  I'm so tired of storylines revolving around him.

me too! He's so self-centered. I am pretty sure Juliet has something heinous in the works for him, though.
