Ack - No Insurance on New Phone

How much would it cost to insure it?

I'd personally just try to be extra careful with it, and set aside the money you'd be paying for insurance every month. That way if something happens to it, you'll have some money tucked away to take the edge off the replacement cost. And if you don't break your phone, you can use the money for shoes instead

I think you talked to someone misinformed @ Cingular. My boyfriend and I have Razr's through them, which is a high end phone (I believe they're like $300 full price), and we have insurance on ours. I just looked up my bill and it's on there - it's $4.99 a month and they offered it to me when I got the phones. I'd call back and talk to someone else or a manager. HTH!

I was reading about insurance then came across a list of what phones were covered and what weren't and noticed that my phone was on the "not covered list" - thats what prompted me to call and confirm what I read. I will call back and speak to someone else though, ya never know!
