i ate it about 3 or 4 days ago, so i'm assuming i'll make it... 

i'm a peanut butter junkie.  however, i prefer JIF.  butthead was at the grocery store and called to see if i needed anything; i told him PB.  so he buys peter pan.  it matches the number of the "may be contaminated batch". 

such is life.

I think with food poisoning you usually start feeling sick w/in 30 minutes or so.

I too have eaten some of the possibly contaminated pb.  I have been eating it for over a month now.  I eat it by the spoonful with milk.  I have yet to throw it out as I'm almost finished with it and I am not sick and don't want to waste good pb.

I think you and your jar are safe.
