i get on these wierd food kicks, where i always eat the same thing for lunch and i have the same types of snacks over and over. is it just me or does anyone else do this?
here's my current obsessions:
lunch: p&j sandwich with sour cream and onion pringles    i've had this for lunch every day for at least a month now! (and i'm still not sick of it)
snacks: mini teddy grahams and sprite

a few months ago, i remember eating bologna sandwiches like they were going out of style and apples dipped in peanut butter, too.
it gets to the point where wonder what i'm going to eat if i run out of chips! lol!

Oh I do!!! I can eat stuff for days/weeks on end morning, noon, and night. It can be really random things too like Cocoa Pepples, buttered toast, chilaquiles, carrots with lemon and salt, anything really.  MMMMM, I'm getting hungry posting this!

I do this all the time. I get completely obsessed and then I totally burn myself out on stuff.

A couple months ago, it was Cheetos. I'd buy multiple bags at a time. I loved them and ate them all the freaking time. I still like them, but I don't even bother buying them anymore because I don't care enough.

Then I moved into my chocolate peanut butter stage - I discovered this peanut butter that had, obviously, chocolate mixed in. I ate it on apples every. single. night. For months. Then all of a sudden, I didn't want it anymore. I still have a half full jar of it and I just don't ever want it anymore. It's been sitting in my cabinet forever now.

It's always sad because by the time my boyfriend catches on to my new obsessions and realizes I love them enough that he goes and buys them for me to have while I'm at his house... I don't want them anymore. He bought chocolate peanut butter to keep at his house months and months ago and I've had just a taste. I feel bad, because I know he's trying to be nice, but when I'm sick of something... I'm done with it!

Yes!  I get on food kicks all the time!  I eat whatever it is until I am totally sick of it.  For the longest time it was strawberry frosted poptarts.  I'd have to eat one every day!  My current obsessions are:  lemon poppy seed bread - I just made some and I cannot get enough, and cinnamon brown sugar mini bagels toasted w/peanut butter.

I could eat a burrito every day of my life. Too bad they aren't very healthy...

The past few weeks I've been going crazy over Twizzlers Cherry Bites licorice. I had the same thing about eating them all the time last year too.

I'm in a Cherry Coke phase too.

Plus I really want to make a chocolate cake with a cherry filling between the layers.

So I guess you could say anything cherry for me right now!

Definitely. Currently it's grits. Weird, huh? It would be sushi if I had regular access to it, but I can't get it as readily in my small town as I could when I lived in the city.

Oh, yes, definitely!  I get in such food ruts.  Lately it's an over easy egg sandwich with a Kraft single on wheat bread for breakfast, yogurt with berries/granola for snacks, string cheese, peanut butter, and pita chips.  Right now I feel like I'll never get sick of those foods, but when I eventually do, I won't want to eat them again for months!

I ate a pb sandwich and grapes or cherries everyday for lunch for over a year.  I finally got tired of it around December of last year.  My current breakfast obsession is a smoothie made with one banana, 1/2 cup strawberries, 1/2 cup blueberries, 1 cup soy milk and some splenda.  I've been on the kick before and got tired of it after a few months so I'm sure I'll move on to something else soon.

right now it's grapefruit which is weird because i used to never like grapefruit.

i've had a ton, banana peanut butter, tuna w/light chips, hummus, imitation crab meat, cereal, cottage cheese/mandarin oranges, oatmeal/craisins, etc...

the thing is, my bf will see them, buy a ton of the item when he sees it on sale at the store, and by then, i'm done with it.  right now we have so much oatmeal, cereal, and mandarin oranges it's not even funny.

if i could afford it, i would eat sushi everyday.

Sushi is definitely a frequent one for me, too.  I went through a bagels and cream cheese phase recently, a Raisin Nut Bran phase, a cheese crisp phase (melted cheese rolled up in a tortilla w/hot sauce and ketchup!), a toasted peanut butter and banana sandwich phase, a macaroni and cheese phase.

Um, almost all my phases are baaaad things!  I guess I should be glad they're only phases then ....

Snack wise, I've been having alot of pretzel sticks dipped in peanut butter.

I has sushi on Saturday, and it's all I've wanted since.

Also, I could eat Mexican food of one variety or another every day. That's been true now for about 8 years!

Yes, and usually I eat it until I no longer want to even see it again.

Some recent obsessions:

Perogies
Snyder's Honey Mustard Pretzel Pieces (I really od'ed on these babies - never again!)
Same holds true for split pea soup and Amy's cheese enchiladas -  makes me ill just thinking about these things.
Smart Start cereal
Vosges Barcelona Bar - not a cheap obsession, at $6 a bar. Luckily, the cost curbed my frenzy.
Hummus - I would buy two tubs everytime I went grocery shopping. I'm down to one now.
Goat cheese

I love good food, but if all I ever ate again for the rest of my life was pretzels, tomatoes and ranch dressing I'd be fine with that.
