How do I delete songs from my ipod?

I just got it yesterday and it loaded up all my music from itunes and I don't want some of it on there.  I can't figure out how to get it off.

In your iTunes library, uncheck the songs you want to delete.  Then when you plug your ipod in to update, I believe there's an option that says "update checked songs only".  If you do that, it will delete the unchecked songs.  HTH!

With your iPod connected to your computer, you can also delete songs directly from the iPod music list.  Just make sure not to delete them from your iTunes library!
