Revlon Colorstay Eyemakeup

  • I now use the shadows and the liners and couldn't be happier.  I've never worn a liner that lasts longer, expensive or otherwise.  For the shadows, they have a very wearable color selection and are very pigmented - a great alternative for those of us who don't want to or can't drop the money on the expensive stuff.

Mineral Makeup

  • I use the brand Larenim, and use the powder like you normally would a loose powder - over my concealer/tinted moisturizer.  Serious staying power and no chalkly/fake look!  And I swear it's cleared my skin up just a bit.

  • homemade aspirin toner. My skin is clearer than it's ever been, and I think this is why.

  • philosophy's the present makeup primer.

  • Stila Sage palette. I never wore green eye makeup b/c my eyes are mostly green, but it looks great!

The new stuff from this year:

* sulfate-free shampoos (my lowlights have lasted twice as long)

* my new T3 hair dryer (dries my hair so much quicker)

* Molton Brown skinfresh facial wash (a random find at Marshall's- such a good cleanser and so moisturizing!)

* Jonathan Product Create Curl Serum (tried it on a whim at Sephora and fell in love, which totally surprised me!)

* Paul Mitchell Super Skinny Serum

* Jergens Natural Glow

The old standbys I couldn't live without:

* La Mer

* MD Forte cleansers

* Rosula prescription cleanser for acne

* Benzaclin

* Dr. Dan's Lip Balm

* Remede UV Coat

* YSL Touche Eclat

I recently got some bronzing/glittery type powder from Mac that I LOVE!  I put some right on my cheekbones when I'm done with the rest of my makeup and it adds the perfect finishing touch.  Not too noticeable, but I just look so much better.

here is the site from makeupalley. If your skin is really dry, though, I might skip it, because the aspirin contains salicylic acid. http://makeupalley.com/product/showreview.asp/ItemID=45864/Aspirin_Toner/Unlisted_Brand/Treatments/

YSL Luxurious Mascara

Bumble and Bumble Creme de Coco shampoo, Prep

Chanel bronzer, Organdy nail polish

Kiehls Papaya and Pineapple face scrub

MAC Powerpoint eye liner

I didn't find a whole lot of skin care products this year that I liked, hopefully next year I will.

I agree about Bare Minerals makeup.

Also I loooove benefit's Dandelion.  I asked for Georgia for Christmas but didn't get it, so on my next trip to the mall, I'm treating myself.

Not a 2005 discovery, but just FYI I adore Cover Girl lip slicks in "lots of shine" or whatever the clear color is (in a light pink tube).  I use it instead of chapstick (and I have tried it all) and I love it the most.  It's moisturizing, not greasy or sticky, and makes my lips just a tad glossy--not too lacquered.

The She Uerma one is slanted slightly from what I see compared to other curlers so it gets all the lashes and pushes them up further when it curls them if that makes any sense.  I use to have a maybeline curler but it always caught the end lashes in the hinge and would rip them out so it was really painful and I gave up on it.  I've never had that problem with the she uerma one.

I've never had a mascara problem with it bleeding underneath my eyes so I can't really help there except to say the Dior has always stayed on my eyes.

Murad's Pomegranite scrub. I cannot say enough good things. It makes me wnat to shower twice as often just to use it.

Dermologica's toner. I had used it before and went back to it this summer. It's nice

I also am in deep love with their daily microfoliant. It's pricey at $45, but it lasts a long time. It's love-r-ly.

Rusk's str8 hair masque. Oh so smoothy-silky.

Laura Merciers cover ups. I finally tried them and I really like them. My sales lady was a raving bitch, but the product is nice. Same goes with Dior Show, but without the bitchy saleslady part.

Oil of Olay's Microdermabraision-peel. It's orange and smells good.

Murad's fruit enzyme masque. Eats the dead skin right off your face.

I had a girl at sephora put it on for me to try for a day so you might want to do the same before you buy it.  I didn't really like it because it irritated my skin and made it itch but that is just me.  I know a lot of people on here really like it so I would suggest at least having a makeover with it to see if you can wear it.

Nicoley - I agree with LSUbatgirl that you might want to try it out before you buy.  Bare Minerals contains Paraben, which some people are allergic or sensitive to.

I ordered from Larenim because they have little sample pots you can get for $3 each.  That way you can try it out and also see what color would work best for you - it's also paraben free.
